Oak Motel, Palo Alto

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were dark with worn furniture, not the healthiest environment, but they were clean, albeit with a musty smell. The temperature in the room was a discomforting 90 degrees upon arrival. The service was a letdown as they refused a refund citing policy, forcing me to pay for both nights and find another place. On the bright side, the staff was hospitable and the location near Stanford Medical Community was convenient. The dining options were basic, with a small living room setup but better than expected.

I must say that my stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was quite convenient for my needs, with plenty of restaurants and stores within walking distance. However, the room had ridiculous prices in November, and the cleanliness left something to be desired. The service was hospitable, but the experience was dampened by their strict refund policy. Dining options were lacking, but the facilities were decent overall.

My stay at the Super 8 was a mix of ups and downs. The dark and dirty walkway near the laundry room was a big downside, but the hotel's proximity to the Stanford medical community was convenient. However, the lack of vegan-friendly options and early morning noise were disappointing.
